About Me

I am an adult cardiologist at Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute. I care for patients with a variety of conditions on the spectrum of cardiovascular disease, ranging from coronary artery disease to congestive heart failure, which continues to be a leading cause of patient illness and mortality. My focus is on treating patients from a pharmacological perspective in conjunction with the procedural and surgical sub-specialists at Memorial.

My father has practiced cardiology for many years, and I was inspired to pursue a career in medicine after witnessing his impact on patients’ lives. My desire was truly cemented after enrolling in cardiovascular physiology courses throughout my college and post-graduate training. I felt a unique and tangible satisfaction in applying this information to patient care.

Cardiology is a vast multi-disciplinary field that requires a team of various specialists to collaborate to provide patient care. It also requires integrating a variety of information ranging from electrophysiology to hemodynamics. I enjoy collaborating with other physicians while applying complex information to the management of the complex disease states of our patients.

I work with my patients in a collaborative spirit, as well. When patients come to our office, I understand they are often in a position of vulnerability and are putting their faith and trust in us. We take our time to consider the unique nuances in each patient’s health and daily life, educate them on changes that can impact their heart, and utilize all our resources to provide a personalized care plan to meet their needs.
