About Me
Medical Director, Clinical Cardiology
I am the medical director of clinical cardiology at Memorial Regional Hospital. I treat all aspects of clinical cardiology including chest pain, shortness of breath and palpitations. I am very involved in preventive cardiology to avoid progressive cardiac disease.
At Memorial, our focus is on taking really great care of our patients and providing the treatment that is right for them.
I believe communication with my patients is key. I want every patient to feel comfortable telling me what they are experiencing – even details that may seem insignificant – because sometimes the smallest clues can help us get to the bottom of a cardiac concern.
In addition to providing patient care, I also participate in clinical research on implantable devices and medical therapies to treat a variety of heart conditions, including coronary disease.
I am passionate and involved in many local organizations collaborating to improve the delivery and quality of local healthcare. I am a board member and finance chairman for Memorial Health Network, serve on the advisory board for Memorial Physician Group, and am a proud board member of the Memorial Foundation – the charitable organization for Memorial Healthcare System.
