About Me
I am a primary care physician at Memorial Healthcare System. I care for patients with a variety of everyday illnesses and injuries, as well as those with chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, migraine headaches and arthritis.
I was inspired to become a doctor by my desire to help people and my fascination with human physiology and disease processes. Being a primary care physician affords me the opportunity to effect change in patients and observe firsthand how those changes lead to better health. I’m also able to help them prevent disease and thus improve their quality of life.
Interacting with patients is my favorite part of my job. My focus is on the holistic care of each patient, not just the disease he/she/they may have.
Before joining Memorial, I was a U.S. Navy physician. I was deployed with the naval hospital ship USNS Comfort in 2018 in response to the Venezuelan refugee crisis in South America and served as a staff physician at the Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, Illinois.
