I am a pulmonologist and sleep medicine specialist at Memorial Healthcare System. I care for patients with a variety of respiratory diseases including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, long-term consequences from smoking, bronchiectasis, cough and pulmonary fibrosis. I also evaluate abnormal chest imaging studies for the detection of lung cancer, provide second opinions when necessary and evaluate and treat sleep disorders such as snoring, excessive daytime sleepiness, sleep apnea, parasomnias, insomnia and narcolepsy.

From an early age, I had a deep desire to help my grandmother who had severe uncontrollable asthma, which led me into the world of respiratory medicine. I became interested in not only treating the disease but also in early detection and minimizing progression whenever possible.

Throughout my career, I have enjoyed the ability to build lasting relationships with patients and their families. I strive to ensure encounters with patients are as stress-free as possible, educate them on their condition and factors that affect their health and ensure they understand their options. I also address patient and family concerns and enjoy creating relationships based on trust and dependable responses to patients’ needs.

Before joining Memorial, I was in private practice for 22 years in Rockledge, Florida, and served as Medical Director of Space Coast Sleep Disorders Center in Melbourne for six years.
