About Me

I am an Otolaryngologist at Memorial Healthcare System. I treat a wide range of conditions affecting the head, face and neck, including the ears, nose, and throat. Some of the most common conditions include persistent tonsillitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, allergies, sleep apnea, hearing loss, thyroid nodules, parathyroid adenoma, parotid tumors, voice disorders, salivary gland tumors, salivary gland stones, skin cancer of the head and neck and benign tumors of head and neck.

I chose a career in otolaryngology and surgery due to my fascination with the complex anatomy and physiology of the head and neck as well as the technology available to address concerns that can impact daily life. It is a privilege to help patients improve their quality of life by restoring their ability to hear, breathe, smell and speak.

When working with patients, I put them in the driver’s seat. At Memorial, we follow a patient-centered approach to care. In addition to our thorough evaluations of their medical symptoms and conditions, we also consider their needs, desires, goals and experiences. Then we develop a personalized treatment plan. Education is also critical, as I want patients to understand their case and treatment options to make informed decisions about their care.

In addition to providing patient care, I am active in national medical organizations and publish and present on various topics regarding otolaryngological treatments and conditions. I’m also involved in educating new physicians, serving on several committees to help grow the field, and serving as an examiner for the otolaryngologic allergy fellowship exam.
