Memorial Healthcare System provides clinical training to medical students in a diverse patient population. Medical students have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals and see a broad range of patients within our six hospitals and numerous ancillary facilities. We offer hands-on teaching in a wide array of specialties.

We offer fourth-year rotations to medical students nationwide through the AAMC’s Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO). See our requirements for visiting students.

MD and DO students: VSLO is only available for use by students enrolled in a US LCME-accredited school or a VSLO participating COCA-accredited AACOM member college.

Third- and fourth-year rotations are available to medical students from medical schools with which we are affiliated:

Florida Atlantic University
Florida International University
Nova Southeastern University
University of Miami

We do not accept students for observerships or shadowing, no exceptions.
